About Lexee
Lexee was a passenger in a vehicle when the driver veered off the road colliding with a guardrail and causing both her and the driver to be ejected. The driver was killed instantly while Lexee was left with an un-survivable brain bleed. The first one onto the scene was a nurse that wasn't supposed to be working that day but decided to go in for a bit and was returning home when the accident happened in front of her. She helped Lexee by making sure she was getting oxygen and staying with her until the ambulance arrived. Both the EMTs and life flight nurse were friends of Lexee's parents and said she fought to stay alive long enough to be put on life support. All of these lead up to her being able to donate what she did.When Lexee first applied for a drivers license, she was adamant about becoming an organ donor. She questioned her mom why she would need her body after she was gone when someone else could benefit from it. This persuaded her mom to also sign up to be an organ donor. Lexee was a natural performer, she loved singing especially with her cousins and her dad. She was a beautiful dancer and a talented gymnast. She loved fishing and hunting with her mom. She especially enjoyed traveling to beautiful places and making happy memories of vacationing with her family.From an early age, Lexee was happy, funny, always making us laugh, and living life to the fullest. One thing that impressed us most about Lexee was how comfortable and loving she was with special needs children, even if it was her first time meeting them. She never had any hesitation. One of the things you would hear Lexee say often was "Don't be sad, there's no time for that!" She cherished beautiful sunsets, sunrises, and the color pink. She had a charitable spirit and desired to bless others.
