About Dylan
Dylan left his earthly family on April 26, 2023, in Lindon Utah, in a tragic accident. Dylan was born January 10, 2005 to Neil and Kristina Smith and it was clear from the beginning that he was going to leave his own mark on this earth and with everyone he met. He grew up in Payson and Bluffdale and made friends wherever he was. Dylan graduated from the Utah Military Academy in 2022, a year earlier than he should have just to prove that he could. He was in school to be a plumbing apprentice and had big plans for his future. He grew up with an adventurous spirit and would never turn down a chance to do something new. He loved to fish, hunt, 4-wheel at the sand dunes and his most recent love, motorcycles. He loved to be with his older brother, who was also his best friend and was right next to him in everything they did.To know Dylan was to love him. His mischievous eyes and amazing one-dimple could charm anyone, for good or for worse. His infectious laugh could light up a room. Dylan was a brother to 8 siblings and prided himself on being the king of pestering. He liked to be a prankster, and no one was safe from his mischief. Dylan was also a helper. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone, whether he was asked to or not. His brothers and sisters were the world to him, and he tried to help them in everything they did. He also loved being around his cousins and considered them his friends, and his friends were considered family.Dylan touched many lives, and his presence will live on in his family and friends. He was so loved, and words can't express how much he will be missed. He lived a lot of life in his 18 years, almost as if he knew his time would be short. We are comforted in the knowledge we will see him again and he is fishing in heaven with his grandpas.
